ASC–CIRCC Certified Coder

We are seeking an experienced ASC–CIRCC Certified Coder (Cardiovascular / Interventional Radiology) to join our growing Revenue Cycle team in a fully remote, full-time role. In this position, you will be responsible for accurately assigning CPT®, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS Level II codes for cardiovascular and interventional radiology procedures performed in an ambulatory surgery center (ASC) or hospital outpatient setting, ensuring compliance with CMS, NCCI, Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payer guidelines. You will review operative reports and clinical documentation for accuracy, apply appropriate modifiers, identify documentation gaps and query providers when needed, support charge capture, and assist in resolving coding-related denials. This role also includes participation in audits, maintaining productivity and quality standards, and collaborating closely with billing, compliance, and revenue cycle teams to optimize reimbursement and maintain audit readiness. Qualified candidates must hold an ASC–CIRCC certification and have at least 2–3 years of hands-on experience in cardiovascular and/or interventional radiology coding, along with strong knowledge of CPT®, ICD-10-CM, HCPCS, modifiers, and outpatient/ASC reimbursement methodologies, including NCCI edits and MUEs. Additional certifications such as CPC or CCS, experience with EHR or coding software, and prior ASC or hospital outpatient experience are preferred. This position requires strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
