Shift Details:

• 8-Hours Shift

• Days, Evenings, Weekends and Holidays

• Minimum of 2 shifts per week or as needed

Nursing Specialty: Float Pool-PACU

CNA Duties & Responsibilities:

• CNAs will assist nurses and physicians in providing direct care to patients with acute psychiatric disorders, acute injuries and variation of medical conditions. 

• CNAs will provide care by helping patients with daily activities such as bathing, feeding, hygiene, and mobility, monitoring and recording vital signs and patient observations, transporting patients to diagnostic tests/procedures, surgeries, and transfers between units; and maintaining a clean and safe patient environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current, valid, and unrestricted CA RN license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.

• Minimum of one (1) year of recent experience in acute care setting experience in a Medical Center located in a metropolitan city with a diverse population.

• AHA BLS Certification, 

• MAB or CPI

• LA City Fire and Life Safety Card (must be LA City)

• Must complete the LA County Employee Health Clearance before assignment start date

• Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.

• Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., .BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test, or other client-specific requirements).
