Nursing Assistant

Location: Geneva, NY

Pay: $1074.24 per week

Shifts: FT 3X12 per week, EOW and Holiday required

Key Responsibilities of the Nursing Assistant

• Perform vital signs and activities of daily living as outlined in the plan of care
• Assist in hourly rounding and document care per guidelines
• Meet nutrition needs of patients, including meal delivery and assistance with feeding
• Document patient care and changes accurately and promptly
• Maintain patient comfort and safety in accordance with policies
• Support rehabilitation needs, including ROM, ambulation, and transfers
• Report changes in patient status to nursing staff immediately
• Participate in shift changeover communication effectively

Requirements of the Nursing Assistant

• BLS (through AHA or RQI only) required
• 1-2 years of customer service/health-related experience
• High school graduate or equivalent with post-secondary education in Health or Human Services
