Nursing Assistant

Location: Geneva, NY

Pay: $1,074.24 per week

Shifts: Full-time 3x12 per week (D/N rotation required), EOW and Holiday

Key Responsibilities of the Nursing Assistant

• Perform vital signs and activities of daily living as per the care plan.
• Assist in meal delivery, setup, and feeding; distribute nourishments, honoring patient choices.
• Maintain patient comfort and safety, turning and positioning patients as needed.
• Document care and changes in patient status promptly.
• Support rehabilitation needs such as ambulation and use of assistive devices.
• Participate in shift changeover communication effectively.

Requirements of the Nursing Assistant

• BLS certification required through AHA/RQI.
• 1-2 years of customer service/health-related experience in Med/Surg/ED/ICU.
• High school diploma or equivalent, with post-secondary education in Health or Human Services.
