Key Responsibilities of the CNA - Part Time

• Ensure residents' ADLs are met according to care plans, including hygiene, grooming, and dressing.
• Maintain residents' environment and safety, responding to call lights and ensuring cleanliness.
• Meet residents' nutritional needs and honor preferences during meal times.
• Support residents' rehabilitative needs with proper use of assistive devices and body alignment.
• Report residents' rights, refusals, and any concerns to the Charge or Supervising Nurse promptly.

Requirements of the CNA - Part Time

• NYS Nursing Assistant Certification
• BLS (AHA or RQI specifically)
• Minimum of one year of LTC experience
• Licensed for at least one year
• High School Diploma or GED
