Key Responsibilities of the CNA

• Ensure resident's ADLs align with care plans, including hygiene, grooming, and dressing, while maintaining a safe environment.
• Maintain resident safety as per care plans, including answering call lights promptly and ensuring cleanliness.
• Meet nutritional needs and honor resident preferences as per care guidelines.
• Support rehabilitative needs including range of motion and ambulation per care plans.
• Report resident rights, refusals, and changes in physical/emotional status promptly to supervisory staff.

Requirements of the CNA

• NYS Nursing Assistant Certification, BLS (AHA)
• One year of experience in LTC or CNA capacity
• High School Diploma or GED
