This role involves providing essential care to residents under the supervision of licensed nursing staff, within a supportive and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities of the CNA

• Meet residents' ADL's needs as outlined in the plan of care, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment.
• Maintain residents' environment and safety, promptly answering call lights and alarms, and ensuring unit cleanliness.
• Address residents' nutritional needs as per the care plan, honoring preferences and documentation protocol.
• Support residents' rehabilitative needs, including range of motion, ambulation, and proper body alignment.
• Promptly report residents' rights, refusals, concerns, and status changes to the Charge Nurse.

Requirements of the CNA

• NYS Nursing Assistant Certification
• BLS (AHA/RQI certifications)
• One (1) year of experience in LTC or CNA capacity
• Must be licensed for at least one year
