Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for an exciting full-time travel assignment in Waterloo, New York. This role involves working closely with residents in a long-term care setting, providing essential support and care as part of a committed healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities of the Full Time CNA

• Assist residents with daily living needs including hygiene, grooming, dressing, toileting, and skin care in accordance with care plans
• Maintain resident safety and environment by responding to call lights, using safety equipment, preventing falls, and cleaning the unit
• Support residents with meals, delivering trays, helping with feeding, and using adaptive equipment
• Assist with mobility and rehab needs such as range of motion exercises, walking, transfers, and proper positioning
• Take and record vital signs including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure
• Measure and record weight, intake, and output
• Assist with admission, transfer, and discharge of residents
• Provide social and emotional support through interaction and companionship
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold residents' rights at all times
• Report resident concerns, changes, or refusals to the nurse promptly
• Complete all required documentation in a timely manner per protocol

Requirements of the Full Time CNA

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 1-year experience as a licensed CNA in a long-term care setting
• NYS Nursing Assistant Certification
• BLS certification (must be through AHA or RQI)
