Shift Details:

• Mon-Fri 7AM-5:30PM (30)

Medical Assistant Duties & Responsibilities:

• Obtains and documents patient vital signs and reports abnormal findings to the RN or provider.

• Rooms patients, manages patient flow, and supports efficient clinic operations.

• Administers vaccines and IM/SubQ medications as ordered.

• Performs point-of-care testing, specimen collection, and phlebotomy.

• Assists physicians, PAs, and NPs with examinations, procedures, and treatments.

• Prepares exam rooms and instruments for examinations and minor procedures.

• Performs wound care, dressing changes, ear lavages, ECGs, peak flow testing, and other ordered procedures.

• Accurately documents patient care, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent

• Minimum of one (1) year related work experience within the last 3 years 

• Additional certifications may be required.

• Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.

• Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., .BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test, or other client-specific requirements).
