Job Title: CT Tech

Location: Stony Brook South & Easthampton, NY

Pay: Weekly - $3,061.80

Shifts: 6am - 4pm (30 min break) for 3 days; Float Day 6:30am - 3:30pm or 12pm-9:30pm (30 min break) or Overnight; Total 37.5 hours

Key Responsibilities of the CT Tech

• Maintain and exhibit behavior that promotes patient confidence and trust.
• Work independently and demonstrate proficiency in Cat Scan Imaging Exams.
• Demonstrate proficiency using pediatric immobilization devices with safety precautions.
• Produce computerized tomographic scanner Radiographs per established protocols.
• Prepare and enter required documentation, such as patient consent and chart information.
• Observe sterile and aseptic techniques as necessary.
• Regular equipment, supply, and accessory checks.
• Assess and accommodate the physical needs of adult and geriatric patients.
• Alleviate patient fears regarding exams.
• Maintain clean and orderly work areas, adhering to safety standards.
• Perform related duties in PACS and adhere to hospital procedures and safety rules.

Requirements of the CT Tech

• High School Graduate or Equivalent required.
• Graduate of a program in Radiologic Technology.
• NYSDOH License Required.
• ARRT Certification Required.
