Shifts: Monday - Friday (varying shifts of either 7am - 3:30pm or 9:30am - 6:30pm)

This role specializes in nuclear medicine imaging and requires expertise in both CT and PET/CT procedures. Key Responsibilities of the CT Technologist

• Review patient history and physician's orders
• Educate patients about procedures and equipment
• Position patients and perform imaging procedures using proper techniques
• Analyze results, ensuring image quality and resolve any issues
• Enter, transmit, and report scan results accurately
• Order, prepare, administer, store, and dispose of radiopharmaceuticals
• Monitor patient condition and respond to changes appropriately

Requirements of the CT Technologist

• CT certification and PET/CT experience
• ARRT - CT certification
• NNMTCB - CT certification
• Certified as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) or registered as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) with certification in Nuclear Medicine (NM) by ARRT
• NYS License
• BLS (American Heart Association)
• 2 years experience
