Pay: $3,088.44 per week

Shifts: Friday - Sunday 7pm - 7:30am EST

Key Responsibilities of the CT Technologist

• Confirm patient identity and exam verification prior to initiating the scan
• Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging
• Prepare patients for scans, explaining the procedure to help them feel comfortable
• Insert IVs when necessary for the test
• Position patients accordingly, utilizing safe patient handling
• Maintain accurate patient record keeping within EPIC
• Ensure a clean and safe scanning facility

Requirements of the CT Technologist

• NYS licensure (must obtain PRIOR to starting position)
• Completion of formal training in an approved School of Radiologic Technology and current certification through the ARRT
• Two (2) Years' Experience
• Level 1 Trauma Center Experience
• BLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
• Telemetry experience
