Pay: $3,431.60 weekly

Shifts: Monday - Thursday, 9:30 PM - 8:00 AM EST

Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a contract assignment in Rochester, NY. This role requires providing diagnostic imaging services in a high-paced environment, working closely with physicians and patients to ensure effective scanning and image management.

Key Responsibilities of the CT Technologist

• Confirm patient identity and exam verification prior to initiating the scan, adhering to department policy for safety.
• Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging.
• Prepare patients for scans and explain procedures to ensure their comfort.
• Insert IVs as necessary for tests.
• Position patients safely; includes lifting or moving patients with limited mobility.
• Maintain accurate patient record keeping using EPIC; ensure images are sent correctly to PACS system upon completion.
• Maintain a clean and safe scanning facility.

Requirements of the CT Technologist

• Completion of formal training in an approved School of Radiologic Technology and maintains Certification through ARRT.
• NYS licensure (must obtain prior to starting position).
• Two (2) Years' Experience in a similar role.
• Level 1 Trauma Center experience required.
• BLS (American Heart Association ONLY).
• Injection certification preferred, must be willing to complete during orientation.
• Experience with Philips and Siemens equipment preferred.
