Location: Rochester, NY

Pay: $3,431.60 weekly

Shifts: Monday - Friday; 3pm - 11:30pm EST, on call/callback, holidays and occasional weekends

Key Responsibilities of the CT Technologist

• Confirm patient identity and exam verification prior to initiating the scan; adhere to department policy for patient safety
• Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging
• Prepare patients for scans and explain procedures to ensure comfort
• Insert IVs when necessary for the test
• Position patients accordingly, ensuring safe handling practices
• Maintain accurate patient records within EPIC and ensure images are correctly sent to the PACS system
• Maintain a clean and safe scanning environment

Requirements of the CT Technologist

• Completion of formal training in an approved School of Radiologic Technology and ARRT certification
• NYS licensure (must obtain prior to starting position)
• Two years of CT experience
• Level 1 Trauma Center experience
• BLS certification (American Heart Association only)
