Location: Rochester, NY

Pay: $3,088.44 per week

Shifts: Fri - Sun 7am - 7:30pm, on call and holiday requirement

Key Responsibilities of the CT Technologist

• Confirm patient identity and exam verification prior to initiating the scan.
• Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging.
• Prepare patients for scans and explain the procedure to help them feel comfortable.
• Insert IVs when necessary for the test.
• Position patients accordingly, utilizing safe patient handling methods.
• Maintain accurate patient record keeping and ensure correct image documentation.
• Maintain a clean and safe scanning facility.

Requirements of the CT Technologist

• NYS licensure (must obtain PRIOR to starting position).
• Completion of formal training in an approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• BLS (American Heart Association ONLY).
• Two (2) Years' Experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center.
• Telemetry experience.
