Job Title: Dietitian - Nutritionist - Travel

Location: Cypress, TX

Pay: $2,232 weekly

Shifts: Rotating on-call Saturdays only

This role requires a professional ready to provide optimal dietary care in a dynamic healthcare environment. Candidates will work with an established team of dietitians in a facility utilizing Meditech Expanse EMR.

Key Responsibilities of the Dietitian - Nutritionist

• Perform timely nutrition screenings and assessments in accordance with policy
• Conduct nutrition-focused physical exams for at-risk patients
• Identify patients at nutritional risk using established criteria
• Evaluate age, development, and disease-specific nutritional needs
• Develop and implement individualized nutritional plans of care
• Monitor the effectiveness of medical nutrition therapy interventions
• Provide nutrition counseling to patients, family, and caregivers
• Participate in competency assessments and achieve passing scores on RD chart audits
• Adhere to nutrition care guidelines and evidence-based practices
• Integrate the Academy Code of Ethics in all areas of practice

Requirements of the Dietitian - Nutritionist

• Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or equivalent
• Completion of an ACEND-accredited supervised practice program
• Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration
• Licensed Dietitian in Texas
• Willingness to work at other HCA facilities
