Key Responsibilities of the EMT - Paramedic

• Provide emergency medical care to patients in the ED
• Operate medical equipment, such as Baxter pumps and GE monitors
• Maintain thorough patient documentation using Cerner systems
• Work collaboratively with team members across various ED sections
• Adhere to all department protocols and patient care standards

Requirements of the EMT - Paramedic

• ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, and NIHSS certifications prior to start date
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a Level 2 trauma center or comprehensive stroke center
• Proven experience as a nurse with at least 1-year experience in an ER setting
• Ability to read telemetry monitors and pass the tele exam
• Teamwork mindset and flexible approach to patient care
