Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated Cath Lab Technologist with a preference for those experienced in IR procedures. This is a travel assignment based in Hyannis, MA, where professionals will work within a Cardiovascular Procedural Area (CVPA), emphasizing patient safety and image quality.

Key Responsibilities of the Cath Lab Technologist

• Assist in invasive procedures, including scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring hemodynamic parameters
• Operate radiologic and interventional equipment ensuring optimal image quality
• Prepares, positions, and assists patients to ensure safety and optimal imaging outcomes
• Provide patient education appropriate to the procedure
• Ensure radiation safety adhering to exposure minimization principles
• Assist in room/table/sterile-tray set-up and turnover
• Coordinate workflow to support patient care and procedure efficiency
• Assist with administration of contrast media during procedures
• Participate in ongoing education to maintain required certifications
• Maintain department inventory and complete safety checks
• Assist in the operating room with Vascular Surgeons/Interventional Radiologists
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements of the Cath Lab Technologist

• High school graduate or GED
• Graduate of a JRCERT accredited Radiologic Technology Program
• Current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Licensed as a Radiologic Technologist in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
• Minimum of two years radiology work experience or as a Special Procedures Technologist
• Successful completion of on-the-job training within six months of hire or recent experience
• BLS and ACLS certification
• Proficiency in computerized informatics
• On-call availability for off-shifts, weekends, and holidays
