Key Responsibilities of the LPN

• Provide resident care in accordance with care plans and procedures, ensuring a hygienic, safe, and comfortable environment.
• Maintain resident safety and environment by adhering to outlined procedures and plans.
• Meet residents' nutritional needs and honor their preferences and choices according to care plans.
• Support residents' rehabilitative needs through exercises and activities as per care plans.
• Report residents' rights, refusals, and changes in condition to supervising nurses promptly.
• Handle potential occupational exposure to blood borne pathogens with care.

Requirements of the LPN

• NY LPN Licensure
• BLS certification (AHA or RQI specifically)
• 1 year experience as an LPN
• High School Diploma or GED
