Shift Details:

• M-F 0800-1630

• 40 hours/week

Medical Assistant Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians and healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.

• Obtain and document patient vital signs, medical histories, and other clinical information.

• Prepare patients for examinations, treatments, and diagnostic procedures.

• Perform basic clinical tasks such as specimen collection, injections, wound care, and medication administration as permitted by state regulations.

• Schedule appointments, maintain patient records, and perform other administrative duties as needed.

• Educate patients on medications, treatments, and follow-up care instructions.

• Ensure examination rooms, equipment, and supplies are clean, organized, and properly stocked.

• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.

• Follow infection control practices, safety protocols, and facility policies

• Provider support including rooming, scheduling, and procedure set up/assistance, RN support including telemeds, EKGs, supply coordination, DME distribution, routine patient assessments, wound care, and phlebotomy.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current license as an RN in the state of WI

• High School diploma or equivalent

• American Heart Association BLS, for Health Care Providers

• Certified Medical Assistant through American Associate of Medical Assistants (AAMA) if required by client. If CMA is required by client , verification will be completed through AAMA.

• Minimum of one (1) year related work experience within the last 3 years 

• Additional certifications may be required.

• Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.

• Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., .BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test, or other client-specific requirements).
