Medical Biller

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Biller to join our team in a full-time, on-site role in Tracy, CA. In this position, you will be responsible for charge entry and processing, patient registration, managing patient aging reports, and handling patient inquiries via phone, while supporting the full medical claims follow-up process and assisting with patient balance collections. The ideal candidate will have experience with Practice Management Systems, with proficiency in Epic and Athena highly preferred, as well as strong technical skills including electronic/clearinghouse billing software, health plan website navigation for benefit verification and claim resolution, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word. Candidates should have a minimum of three years of medical billing experience, preferably in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, along with a strong understanding of ICD-10 and ICD-9 coding, insurance guidelines, claim submission processes, and patient eligibility. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently while meeting deadlines and maintaining consistent attendance in an on-site setting.
