Job Title: MRI Technologist - Travel

Location: Cary, NC

Pay: $2,743.20 weekly

Shifts: Sundays, 6:45 AM - 7:30 PM

Key Responsibilities of the MRI Technologist

• Operate imaging and related equipment to provide high-quality diagnostic images.
• Interview patients to explain MRI procedures and address any concerns.
• Ensure patient safety, including pre-screening for contraindications and aseptic injection technique.
• Effectively communicate with customers and/or Radiologists.
• Train new technologists and/or Patient Coordinators, providing direction and feedback.
• Troubleshoot scanner and peripheral equipment to ensure effective operations.

Requirements of the MRI Technologist

• High School Diploma or GED; Associate's Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• ARRT(MR) certification required.
• Venipuncture Certification required.
• AHA BLS CPR Certification required.
• Valid state driver's license and state license as required.
• Minimum of 1 year of MR experience in high-volume environments preferred.
• Proficiency with Siemens lumina, Altea, and espree units 1.5 and 3T with XA60 software and B19 syngo.
• Recent EPIC experience required.
