This role requires an adept professional with expertise in handling patients with complex neuro conditions within an acute care setting. You will join a dynamic team supported by 24/7 radiologists and other MRI Techs, utilizing advanced technology such as Siemens Sola and Verio in a well-equipped environment.

Key Responsibilities of the MRI Technologist

• Conduct MRI examinations adhering to protocols for neuro patients, including spine and head trauma cases.
• Provide support and care for student athletes.
• Collaborate with radiologists and MRI Techs to deliver high-quality imaging services.
• Utilize Siemens Sola and Verio equipment efficiently.
• Maintain accurate patient records in the Cerner EMR system.

Requirements of the MRI Technologist

• Current BLS certification.
• ARRT (MR) or AMRIT certified.
• KY state license preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year acute care experience with specified patient types.
• Proficiency in using Cerner EMR, Siemens Sola, and Verio equipment.
