Key Responsibilities of the MRI Technologist

• Perform MRI scans on patients across multiple age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Handle daily patient visits, averaging 20 per day
• Administer and monitor patient safety measures, including isolation precautions and PPE
• Utilize advanced imaging techniques such as diffusion and gradient echo imaging
• Conduct image post-processing tasks, including multiplanar reconstruction and perfusion

Requirements of the MRI Technologist

• NY License is required upon start
• BLS and ARRT R certifications are mandatory
• Minimum of 1-year experience in MRI technology
• Proficiency in EPIC charting system
• Must be located more than 75 miles from the facility
