Job Title: MRI Technologist

Location: Rochester, NY

Pay: $3,938.80 weekly

Shifts: Monday-Thursday 8pm - 6am (holidays per unit needs)

This role is ideal for a professional with expertise in magnetic resonance imaging and a passion for patient care. As an MRI Technologist, you will play a crucial role in operating MRI equipment and ensuring high-quality diagnostic imaging in a dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities of the MRI Technologist

• Maintain a clean and safe scanning facility
• Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging
• Prepare patients for scans and explain the procedure to help them feel comfortable
• Insert IVs when necessary for the test
• Document all procedures while maintaining the confidentiality of patient information
• Patient care tasks as needed

Requirements of the MRI Technologist

• Two (2) Years' Experience
• BLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
• MUST HAVE GE SCANNER EXPERIENCE TO BE CONSIDERED
• Level 1 Trauma Center Experience
• Certification through the ARRT
• MUST HAVE INJECTION CERTIFICATION TO BE CONSIDERED
• NYS Rad Tech license - must be willing to obtain this after starting
