Location: Alexandria, LA

Pay: $4,017.60 weekly

Shifts: 8-hour shifts with varying start times: 6:00am-2:30pm, 7:00am-3:30pm, 8:00am-4:30pm, 11:00am-7pm, and/or 3:00pm-11pm

Seven Healthcare are seeking a talented Pharmacist for a travel assignment in Alexandria, Louisiana. This role requires the Pharmacist to manage and dispense medications, ensuring efficient and compassionate pharmacy services in a hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities of the Pharmacist

• Prepare and dispense drug orders per physician request, following policies, procedures, and protocols
• Interpret drug orders (verbal and written) and transcribe/verify into computerized patient medication records
• Compound and dispense non-sterile and sterile pharmaceuticals accurately
• Issue controlled substances and maintain required records
• Provide clinical pharmaceutical services in ambulatory care settings

Requirements of the Pharmacist

• Doctor of Pharmacy or BS Pharmacy degree
• State licensure (LA LICENSE REQUIRED)
• BLS or ACLS certification via AHA
• Preferred: Hospital experience
