Job Title: Pharmacist - Travel

Location: Greensburg, PA

Pay: $2,914.80 weekly

Shifts: 2nd Shift: Rotating schedule, must be available 7 days per week, 3pm-11pm, every other weekend Sat & Sun 3pm-11pm or 2pm-10pm, 2 holidays per year

The Pharmacist will be responsible for ensuring compliance with federal and state laws regarding pharmaceuticals.

Key Responsibilities of the Pharmacist

• Accept and dispense prescription medications
• Monitor patient medication compliance and over-usage patterns
• Ensure the supply of medicines is within the law
• Maintain confidential records and proper management of patient records
• Advise patients on medications and answer their questions
• Provide consultation on non-prescription medications
• Educate patients on proper handling of medical devices
• Compound medications and prepare sterile solutions
• Supervise pharmacy staff members
• Maintain appropriate inventory on supplies
• Identify and communicate drug-related problems with healthcare practitioners
• Work in conjunction with physicians, nurses, and other pharmacists

Requirements of the Pharmacist

• Doctor of Pharmacy degree required
• Licensed by the state pharmacy board
