Job Title: Licensed Pharmacist

Location: Hudson, WI

Pay: $2,914.80 weekly

Shifts: As Needed Basis (2 weekend scheduled shifts per month (4-week rotation), 3-4 on-call evenings a week)

Key Responsibilities of the Licensed Pharmacist

• Accept and dispense prescription medications
• Monitor patient medication compliance and over-usage patterns
• Ensure that the supply of medicines is within the law
• Ensure that the medicines prescribed to patients are suitable
• Accurately maintain confidential records of all patients and pharmacy files
• Advise patients about medicines, including usage, reactions, and answer queries
• Provide consultation on prescription and non-prescription medications
• Offer services such as smoking cessation, blood pressure measurement, and cholesterol management
• Educate patients on handling medical devices
• Compound medications and prepare sterile solutions
• Supervise pharmacy staff members
• Maintain appropriate inventory of pharmaceutical and medical supplies
• Identify patient drug-related problems and communicate with healthcare practitioners
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, other pharmacists, and pharmacy interns

Requirements of the Licensed Pharmacist

• Doctor of Pharmacy degree required
• Licensed by the state pharmacy board in Wisconsin
• Experience in non-sterile compounding preferred
• Experience with on-call and overnight shifts
