Pay: $2,914.80 per week

Shifts: Monday-Friday 11:00 AM-7:30 PM; potentially one weekend per month 9:00 AM-5:30 PM

Key Responsibilities of the Pharmacist

• Accept and dispense prescription medications
• Monitor patient medication compliance and over-usage patterns
• Ensure supply of medicines is within the law
• Verify suitability of prescribed medicines
• Maintain confidential patient records
• Advise patients on medication use and potential reactions
• Provide consultation on medication storage, dosage, side effects, and interactions
• Deliver services like smoking cessation and blood pressure measurement
• Educate on proper handling of medical devices
• Compound medications and prepare sterile solutions
• Supervise pharmacy staff, including technicians and clerks
• Maintain appropriate inventory of supplies
• Identify and communicate patients' drug-related problems with healthcare providers

Requirements of the Pharmacist

• Doctor of Pharmacy degree
• Licensed by the state pharmacy board
