Job Title: Pharmacist - Travel

Location: Milwaukee, WI

Pay: $3,057.60 weekly

Shifts: M-F 11:00 AM - 7:30 PM; possibly 1 weekend per month 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Key Responsibilities of the Pharmacist

• Accept and dispense prescription medications
• Monitor patient medication compliance and over-usage patterns
• Ensure that the supply of medicines is within the law
• Ensure that prescribed medicines to patients are suitable
• Accurately maintain confidential records of patients and pharmacy files
• Advise patients about medicines, including usage and possible reactions
• Provide consultation on medication storage, dosage, side effects, and drug interactions
• Offer additional services like smoking cessation, blood pressure measurement, and cholesterol management
• Educate patients on handling medical devices, e.g., blood pressure monitors and glucose meters
• Compound medications for external or internal use
• Prepare sterile solutions following proper procedures
• Supervise pharmacy staff including technicians and clerks
• Maintain inventory on pharmaceutical and medical supplies
• Identify and communicate patient drug-related problems to healthcare practitioners
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals

Requirements of the Pharmacist

• Doctor of Pharmacy degree required
• Licensed by the state pharmacy board
