Pay: $3,057.60 per week

Shifts: M-F 9-5:30; occasional weekend shift, about once a month, 9-5:30

Key Responsibilities of the Pharmacist

• Accept and dispense prescription medications
• Monitor patient medication compliance and over-usage patterns
• Ensure supply of medicines is within the law
• Evaluate the suitability of prescribed medicines for patients
• Maintain and manage confidential patient records
• Advise patients on medication usage and potential reactions
• Provide consultations on medication storage, dosage, side effects, and interactions
• Offer services such as smoking cessation, blood pressure, and cholesterol management
• Educate patients on handling medical devices
• Compound medications and prepare sterile solutions
• Supervise pharmacy staff
• Maintain pharmaceutical and medical supply inventory
• Identify and communicate drug-related issues with healthcare practitioners
• Collaborate with healthcare team members

Requirements of the Pharmacist

• Doctor of Pharmacy degree required
• Licensed by the state pharmacy board
