Job Title: Infusion Pharmacist

Location: Tulsa, OK

Pay: $2,914.80 per week

Shifts: 8:30am - 5:30pm, Monday to Friday

Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced Infusion Pharmacist for a contract position in Tulsa, OK. This role requires a dedicated professional with a strong background in pharmacy practice, particularly in compounding and evaluating drug therapies for home care patients. You will be working in an onsite environment, collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities of the Infusion Pharmacist

• Accept and dispense prescription medications
• Monitor patient medication compliance and over-usage patterns
• Ensure the supply of medicines is within the law
• Ensure prescribed medicines are suitable for patients
• Accurately maintain confidential patient records
• Advise patients on medicines, including usage, reactions, and queries
• Provide consultation on storage, dosage, side effects, and drug interactions
• Offer patient services such as smoking cessation and cholesterol management
• Educate patients on medical device handling
• Compound medications and prepare sterile solutions
• Supervise pharmacy staff including technicians and clerks
• Maintain inventory of pharmaceutical and medical supplies
• Identify and communicate patient drug-related issues to healthcare practitioners
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other pharmacists

Requirements of the Infusion Pharmacist

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy required; Doctor of Pharmacy preferred
• Registered Pharmacist License in state(s) of practice
• Experience with compounding infused drugs preferred
• Proven record of evaluating and monitoring drug therapies for home care patients
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
