Shifts: M-F 9-6 PM with occasional Saturdays

This role requires a highly organized and diligent pharmacist with the ability to manage and oversee the dispensing of prescription medications. Key Responsibilities of the Pharmacist

• Accept and dispense prescription medications
• Monitor patient medication compliance and over-usage patterns
• Ensure the supply of medicines is within the law and prescribed medicines are suitable
• Accurately maintain confidential records of all patients
• Advise patients about medicines, including usage and potential reactions
• Provide consultation on medications for storage, dosage, side effects, and drug interactions
• Offer services such as smoking cessation, blood pressure monitoring, and cholesterol management
• Educate patients on medical devices like blood pressure monitors and glucose meters
• Compound medications and prepare sterile solutions
• Supervise pharmacy staff including technicians and clerks
• Maintain appropriate inventory on pharmaceutical and medical supplies
• Identify and communicate patient drug-related problems with healthcare practitioners

Requirements of the Pharmacist

• Doctor of Pharmacy degree required
• Licensed by the state pharmacy board
