Pay: $2,914.80 per week

Shifts: 2nd Shift: 1pm-9:30pm / Every 3rd weekend Sat & Sun 9am-5pm

Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated Pharmacist for a contract to hire position in Wilkes Barre, PA. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree, who is licensed by the state pharmacy board, to work onsite. The role focuses on delivering pharmaceutical care, supervising staff, and ensuring medication safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities of the Pharmacist

• Accept and dispense prescription medications
• Monitor patient medication compliance and over-usage patterns
• Ensure that the supply of medicines is within the law
• Accurately maintain confidential records of all patients
• Advise patients about medicines, including storage, dosage, side effects, and drug interactions
• Provide services such as smoking cessation, blood pressure measurement, and cholesterol management
• Maintain inventory of pharmaceutical and medical supplies
• Identify drug-related problems and communicate with healthcare practitioners
