Pay: $2,914.80 weekly

Shifts: Options available: M-F 9am-5:30pm / every 3rd weekend Sat & Sun 9am-5pm OR M-F 11am-7:30pm / every 3rd weekend Sat & Sun 9am-5pm

Seven Healthcare are seeking experienced Pharmacists for a contract-to-hire opportunity in Wilkes-Barre, PA. This role involves working within a team to ensure the safe and effective dispensing of medications in an onsite healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities of the Pharmacist

• Accept and dispense prescription medications
• Monitor patient medication compliance and over-usage patterns
• Ensure that the supply of medicines is within the law and suitable for patients
• Maintain confidential records of patients
• Advise patients about medicines, including administration and side effects
• Provide consultations on medications, including storage, dosage, and drug interactions
• Offer patient services for smoking cessation, blood pressure, and cholesterol management
• Educate patients on medical devices like blood pressure monitors and glucose meters
• Compound medications and prepare sterile solutions
• Supervise pharmacy staff
• Maintain inventory of pharmaceutical and medical supplies
• Identify and communicate drug-related problems with healthcare practitioners

Requirements of the Pharmacist

• Doctor of Pharmacy degree required
• Licensed by the state pharmacy board
