Pay: $2,914.80 weekly

Shifts: Rotating 10-hour shifts - 6:30am-4:30pm, 9am-7pm, 11am-9pm, & 1pm-11pm / every 3rd weekend

Key Responsibilities of the Pharmacist

• Accept and dispense prescription medications
• Monitor patient medication compliance and over-usage patterns
• Ensure the supply of medicines is within the law
• Verify suitable medications are prescribed to patients
• Accurately maintain confidential records and pharmacy files
• Advise patients on medications, reactions, and answer questions
• Provide consultation on drug storage, dosage, side effects, and interactions
• Offer patient services such as smoking cessation and cholesterol management
• Educate proper handling of medical devices like blood pressure monitors
• Compound medications and prepare sterile solutions
• Supervise pharmacy staff members
• Maintain inventory of pharmaceutical and medical supplies
• Identify drug-related problems and communicate with healthcare providers
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other pharmacists

Requirements of the Pharmacist

• Doctor of Pharmacy degree
• Licensed by the state pharmacy board
