Job Title: Pharmacy Technician

Location: Greensburg, PA

Pay: $1,108.80 per week

Shifts: 1st Shift: rotating schedule (days will differ) every 2 weeks / must be available 7 days per week / 8am-4:30pm or 9am-5:30pm / every other weekend 9am-5:30pm / 2 holidays per year

Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician for a contract-to-hire position in Greensburg, PA. This role involves working under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist, filling prescriptions, preparing IVs, and assisting with billing and inventory management. The Pharmacy Technician will work in an onsite setting with a rotating first shift schedule.

Key Responsibilities of the Pharmacy Technician

• Fill prescriptions and prepare IVs under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist
• Work with Billing Supervisor to enter data and obtain reimbursement payment
• Prepackage medication for dispensing according to standards and regulations
• Assist Pharmacist in final checking of filled prescriptions
• Coordinate accurate and timely delivery of medications to customers
• Maintain good inventory practices and assist with physical inventory
• Ensure a clean and safe work environment, checking equipment for calibration and safety

Requirements of the Pharmacy Technician

• Experience working under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist
• Ability to fill prescriptions and prepare IVs
• Knowledge of billing processes for reimbursement payments
• Familiarity with inventory management practices
• Capability to maintain a clean and safe work environment
