Job Title: Pharmacy Technician

Location: Leesport, PA

Pay: $1,108.80 per week

Shifts: M-F 9:00 AM - 6:30 PM with rotating weekends (Sat 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM, Sun 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM)

This role involves working under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist in a dynamic pharmacy environment. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate prescription preparation and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities of the Pharmacy Technician

• Fill prescriptions and prepare IVs under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist
• Work with the Billing Supervisor to enter data and obtain reimbursement payments
• Assist in prepackaging medications for dispensing according to regulations
• Support final prescription checks including medication stating and packaging
• Coordinate accurate and timely delivery of medications to customers
• Maintain good inventory practices and assist in physical inventory tasks
• Ensure a clean and safe work environment through equipment checks

Requirements of the Pharmacy Technician

• Valid Pharmacy Technician certification/license as required by the state of Pennsylvania
• Experience working under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist
