Job Title: Pharmacy Technician

Location: Wilkes-Barre, PA

Pay: $1,108.80 weekly

Shifts:

• 2nd Shift: M-F 1pm-8:30pm / every other weekend 9am-5pm
• 2nd Shift: M-F 3pm-11pm

Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician for a contract-to-hire position based in Wilkes-Barre, PA. This role operates under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist and involves working in a fast-paced pharmacy environment. Key Responsibilities of the Pharmacy Technician

• Fill prescriptions and prepare IVs under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist
• Enter data into the computer system for prescription filling and reimbursement payment
• Prepackage medication for dispensing according to standards and regulations
• Assist in final checking and packaging of prescriptions after pharmacist review
• Coordinate medication delivery to customers accurately and timely
• Maintain good inventory practices, including receiving and rotating stocks
• Assist in maintaining a clean and safe work environment
• Check equipment for calibration, safety, and cleanliness

Requirements of the Pharmacy Technician

• Relevant certification as a Pharmacy Technician
• Experience working under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist
• Familiarity with prescription filling and inventory practices
