Job Title: Med/Surg Registered Nurse

Location: Geneva, NY

Pay: $2,349.72 per week

Shifts: Full Time (36 hours) + 2 on-call shifts in 4 weeks (Days/Nights/Weekends/Holidays)

Key Responsibilities of the Med/Surg Registered Nurse

• Apply nursing knowledge and skills in the delivery of care.
• Assess patient and family needs through active listening and analysis, creating individualized care plans.
• Promote health, safety, and rights of the patient; build mutual trust and respect within the team.
• Educate and motivate patients and families to support self-care beyond hospitalization.
• Evaluate nursing practice quality and effectiveness; engage in self-evaluation and professional development.
• Develop helping, trusting relationships by understanding patient/family priorities.
• Demonstrate skill in medication administration and intervention application.
• Safeguard public safety through infection prevention compliance.

Requirements of the Med/Surg Registered Nurse

• NYS RN Licensure
• Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS (AHA or RQI only), NIHSS
• One year of experience in a Med/Surg environment as a Registered Nurse
