Job Title: Med/Surg Registered Nurse

Location: Geneva, NY

Pay: $2,349.72 weekly

Shifts: Full Time (36 hours) + 2 on call shifts in 4 weeks, day/night variable shifts

Key Responsibilities of the Med/Surg Registered Nurse

• Apply nursing knowledge and skills in the delivery of care.
• Assess patient/family needs via active listening and analyze acquired data.
• Create and adjust individualized plans of care in collaboration with healthcare team members.
• Promote, advocate for, and protect patient health, safety, and rights.
• Teach and motivate patients/families for post-hospitalization self-care.
• Evaluate Nursing Practice to improve quality and effectiveness.
• Develop caring relationships through effective communication and presence.
• Demonstrate skill in medication administration and various interventions.

Requirements of the Med/Surg Registered Nurse

• Valid NYS RN Licensure
• BLS and ACLS certification (AHA only)
• NIHSS certification
• Minimum of 2 years' experience as RN in a Med/Surg environment
