Job Title: RN - Med Surg - Travel

Location: Peoria, IL

Pay: $2,571.84 per week

Shifts: 12-hour Nights

Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced Med Surg Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in Peoria, IL. This role involves working in an acute care setting, providing care to general medical patients with various diagnoses in a 31-bed unit. Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Provide nursing care to patients with a variety of medical conditions
• Manage a nurse-to-patient ratio of 4-5:1 during the day and 5-6:1 at night
• Titrate Heparin drips as necessary
• Monitor patients remotely via house-wide telemetry department
• Collaborate with unit leadership for scheduling preferences
• Float to other units as needed
• Perform IV starts and manage patient care equipment
• Work every other weekend (day or night shifts)

Requirements of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• BLS certification
• Active IL RN licensure or confirmation that the license application process is initiated
• A minimum of 1 year of hospital experience preferred
• Proficiency in titrating Heparin drips
