Key Responsibilities of the CVICU Registered Nurse

• Provide care to immediate post-operative cardiac surgery patients, including ECMO, Centrimags, and HM3 LVADS.
• Perform central line insertion, swan insertion, and intubations.
• Utilize skills with PA catheter and hemodynamic monitoring.

Requirements of the CVICU Registered Nurse

• Strong critical care experience, including CVICU experience
• Certifications Required: ACLS, BLS
• Preferred experience with IABP, Impella, and CRRT
