Location: San Antonio, TX

Pay: $2,410.56 per week

Shifts: Days 7AM-7PM

Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced Nurse (RN) specializing in Critical Care within a CVICU setting for a travel assignment in San Antonio, TX. This role requires extensive knowledge in pediatric cardiac care, including chest tubes, pacing wires, and ventilator management.

Key Responsibilities of the Nurse (RN) - CVICU

• Apply nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients
• Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
• Administer medications and treatments following protocols; monitor for side-effects and effectiveness
• Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care given
• Assess learning needs and provide education to patients and families

Requirements of the Nurse (RN) - CVICU

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
• Current RN License in the state of TX or compact state
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification (AHA only) required
• Two years of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred
