Special Education Teacher

AB Staffing is looking for an experienced Special Education Teacher that is available for the 2026/2027 school year.

 

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of classroom experience
• Must hold or currently be in the process of obtaining a Colorado Department of Education (CDE) teaching license
• Previous Special Education/Resource classroom experience preferred
• Strong classroom management, communication, and collaboration skills

We are currently seeking a Special Education Resource Teacher for a full-time school-based opportunity in Boulder, Colorado.

Position Details

• Full-time, Monday–Friday
• Middle School Special Education Resource Teacher
• Contract dates: ASAP – May 21, 2027
• Full time
• Must be a flexible and collaborative team player

 

 

 

 

Essential Functions:

• Provide Special Education instruction and support to middle school students
• Develop and implement individualized educational strategies based on student needs
• Support and implement student IEP goals and accommodations
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, administrators, and families
• Monitor student progress and maintain required documentation
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings
• Maintain a supportive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment

Salary:

• $50-$55 per hour
• $1,875-$2,062 per week
