Job Title: RN - Med Surg and ER

Location: Chamberlain, SD

Pay: $2,653.20 per week

Shifts: 48 hours per week - 12 hour shifts, every other weekend and holiday, with 3 call shifts required in a 13 week contract

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg and ER

• Deliver high-quality patient care in the Med Surg and ER units
• Function independently within the ER with the capability to manage Med Surg patients
• Utilize Sanford One Charge and Pixis for computerized charting and medication management
• Manage a nurse-to-patient ratio of 3 to 4 in Med Surg, based on census and acuity
• Participate in floating between ER and Med Surg units as required

Requirements of the RN - Med Surg and ER

• Minimum of 2 years RN experience, including 6 months Med Surg and ER experience in the past year
• Valid BLS and ACLS certifications required before start
• TNCC preferred; NRP required (can be obtained onsite with approval)
• PALS certification required
