Job Title: RN - ER/ED - Emergency Room/Emergency Department - Travel

Location: Urbana, IL

Pay: $2,409.48 weekly

Shifts: 12hr nights

Key Responsibilities of the RN - ER/ED

• Provide comprehensive care to patients with various conditions including chest pain, GI complaints, and trauma.
• Work seamlessly as part of a team in a 22-bed emergency department with fast track facilities.
• Administer all standard ER drips and demonstrate proficiency in interpreting 12 leads for STEMIs.
• Participate in a rotation of floating within the healthcare facility without taking patient assignments.
• Engage in effective communication with the crisis/psych assessment and placement team as needed.

Requirements of the RN - ER/ED

• Active IL license or confirmation of application process initiation
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (AHA)
• Preferred certifications: TNCC or TNS, NIHSS
• Experience with BHE patients and stroke competencies
• Familiarity with EPIC charting system and travel experience preferred
• Understanding of and commitment to a Drug-Free Campus policy
