Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), and Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) certifications are required or must be obtained within one year of hire. Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems is necessary. Recommended experience includes crisis intervention, rapid assessment, and working with diverse patient populations.
