Key Responsibilities of the RN - Pediatric Hematology / Oncology

• Provide specialized nursing care to pediatric patients with hematology and oncology conditions
• Administer chemotherapy and manage central lines
• Perform pediatric assessments and apply critical thinking in acute care situations
• Collaborate with a comprehensive care team, including hospitalists and intensivists, available 24/7
• Engage in safety rounding and utilize technology such as Epic EMR and Alaris IV pumps

Requirements of the RN - Pediatric Hematology / Oncology

• Active RN license
• BLS certification, PALS preferred
• APHON chemo certification required for PHO
• Minimum 1 year experience in pediatric hem/oncology acute care
• Experience with pediatric assessment and central line management
