Key Responsibilities of the Pediatric Float ICU Nurse

• Provide patient care in various ICU units including PICU, NICU, and CICU
• Adapt quickly to floating between different campuses and units
• Manage patient ratios of 2-3:1 effectively
• Ensure responsible charting using EPIC systems
• Commit to making up any missed shifts as necessary
• Participate in holiday rotations as required

Requirements of the Pediatric Float ICU Nurse

• At least 2 years of PICU or Pediatric CICU experience
• Active GA or compact RN license
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Compliance with nicotine-free policy and flu vaccination requirements
